That sounds absolutely wonderful. It's warmer than usual for this time of year here and it's bearable until the wind picks up. That's usually what sends me back to the house early. The deer don't move much here until the temps get down below about 50 degrees. Windy days I hardly ever see anything anyways. This year the vikings are worth watching so far so that's a little extra incentive to go in for lunch anyway. Saw 0 deer the first day. Second day they were all over in the evening but not a one with a rack. Can't go out tonight because I have to replace my mailbox due to vandalism last Friday so I'm about positive this would have been the best day to hunt. Murphy's law

Last morning archery sit then headed home Saw a buck cruising around 6:30 am not expecting alot. My clover food plots are starting to take, not sure if it's worth it when I'm competing with my neighbors 150 acres of cover crop

Everything seemed perfect this morning. Sat until 11:30 and didn't see a thing. Didn't get pics on any cameras either. May just sit on the back deck tonight and relax.

My cams were dead and it was gorgeous up here too

About to get another shower (75 here) and slip in right behind the house. May shoot a doe tonight...

Deer around my place would prefer a small hidden plot over 150 acres any day.

Had a fawn then a doe with two fawns come through. Maybe tomorrow
