You got that right. I've hunted the last 10 days and only one buck seen. I have not heard/seen any chasing, grunting, bucks cruising....it's been pathetic. Just saw a doe and fawn out for a stroll.
Bill, what kind of tree is that you are sitting in? It looks like maybe hawthorn with all those spurs, but it grows coniferous branches with it's own lighting system???:confused: :confused: ;) :D

I'm not technically in it. I'm next to it in an extended tripod. It's a honey locust. Kinda between it and two walnuts. The stand has to be here to work. I ain't climbing a honey locust and walnuts sway in the wind like wet noodles.
I have trash all over the trees. Xmas tree limbs, burlap and even pieces of old cedar. It helps break me up. Or so I make myself believe.
Part of the trouble here is 120 acres of corn still up, I've watched deer all this last week running in and out of it. First time sitting in this stand all year.
