The Land of Milk and Honey

Plucked a soybean plant today. Quite a few pods. They aren’t very full yet, but we are 50-60 days or so from average frost.

Beautiful, healthy looking plant. What's the browse pressure like so far?

Did you innoculate the seeds? I don't see any N nodules? I pulled one the other day on my place that had between 20-25 nodules but not as many pods as yours.
What variety is this? Standard GMO beans?

I thought about actually digging one up to see if maybe I yanked it too hard and the nodules stayed in place.

I don't think that would be the case except in some extreme dry/compacted circumstances. The one I yanked out the other day was full of nodules and I didn't baby it coming out of the ground.

Awesome!

I agree with your thought process. Good stuff.

Deer love mowed trails and anyone sitting on them will have some decent action.

That looks like a hell of a setup.

What drone are you using?Looks great

Looks good my friend!

Oh wow! Looks like they cleaned that up pretty well. You gonna let it ride as is, or try to get another crop up yet? The leftover residue is a nice bonus.

Nice! I was wondering how that was working out for ya.

Have you noticed the deer's preference on which to browse currently with the beans being brown?

Well... I was planning on my first sit tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I tore my bicep yesterday afternoon... ☹️ 🙄 Hopefully I can still manage rifle season at this point...
Dang it dude! That’s really unfortunate. I’d imagine you are in a lot of pain! Had that happen to a friend of mine and he said it was terrible. I’m hoping you have a quick recovery and can get out soon!

Oh no! What happened? I’ve been there. Ripped it straight off the bone and had to have surgery.

I hope you get healed up quick. I'm looking forward to seeing you with a giant this year.

Transplanting a stupid tree for my wife. We are starting a house addition and I wanted to cut down a tree that was in the way. She insisted on moving it (this is her fault clearly🙂). The tree was laying next to the new hole and I tried to slightly lift it to plop it over. I barely moved and it just snapped. Sounded like a rope snapped. I puked immediately... 😂 I haven't had to wipe my ass yet. We'll see how that goes. VA is weighing options for surgery.
Bummer! Mine happened at Lowe’s. Moving a piece of drywall. Same deal, sounded like a 22 went off. Should have sued them and become filthy rich!

What horrible timing, I like you found the silver lining of blaming the wife!
Hopefully you have a speedy recovery!

Geez, sorry to read all this. That bicep sounds brutal. How does one prevent that from happening? Hope all your various recoveries go well.

Dang T, you're falling apart. Getting old hits us all differently! 😂

Heck yeah! Looks like a big addition. Whatcha got going on there
