Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

if the card becomes corrupted either on its own or by the unit itself, it can lock up the unit and changing the card often fixes the issue. i advise this since its simple and easy to do and since you are a distance away from your network it might save you a trip or the hassle of sending it in for warranty evaluation . Speaking from experience , reformatting does work sometimes but there are times that a card cant be used since it continually causes issues. I prefer 16gb sandisk in mine but nay quality class 10 card should work.
It's my opinion the cards wear out over time. They may get bad sectors or something that the camera doesn't handle well. Across many brands, SD cards tend to be the biggest problem component. Some manufacturers have gone as far as building storage into their cell cameras. This likely eliminates the card issues from a support perspective.

I have an L series remote that works fine except it quit recognizing an external power source. Would changing the SD card correct that?

I had one that got cranky. I fiddled with the cables and the panel, and it started working again. Maybe try switching it to a different camera and see what happens. Could be camera, cable or panel.

likely not , try a reset/reboot in the camera, , but first take batteries out and then plug solar in to see if it powers up , make sure its not a bad panel battery or bad cable

This is actually a dual power bank. I put new batteries and a new cable. Do you mean a factory reset? I pulled the external and internal batteries last time and let it die. No dice.

then i would try a solar panel or another source with the L instead of the DPB, to insure the issue isnt with the DBP, i would use a solar on an L or a PW-001 -

Is there a way to test the output with a meter? Could you check the cable for continuity?
