I feel sorry for you Bill, with multiple big-racked bucks that you have to catalog with specific antler configurations !! Native and you seem over-populated with big ones and need to transfer a few to - say - Pa. ?? !!I have a great " seeding " spot.
Thanks for sharing! Everything looks good. I noticed in one of my plots all the chickory, I don't remember planting any there but there might have been some in the clover mix.
The wild chicory is all over along our roadsides here in Pa. It turns otherwise barren, gravelly, bland road edges into ribbons of blue. Too bad the plant itself is kind of scraggly looking. If it was nice and leafy & lush - I'd probably have " collected " a few sample for the wife's garden. The flowers are tough to beat for blue color.
I showed my wife your pix, Native. ( post # 450 ) She " saved " the pic of the chicory and the barn - she said it was a really neat picture. That's the kind of pic she and I take when out driving / hiking through the country here. We like old barns and old weathered trees.
Native,
I have been working on a big transmission line project forever, but if I ever finish I think out of all the places I have seen on here and the former host site yours is the place I would like to tour the most. Take care. WTNUT.
