weeds

Stump

Yearling... With promise
Is there any herbicide out there that will kill broadleafs in rape radishes and turnips. Planted some rape radishes and turnips in mid June this year. Plots are putting on roots already but the weeds are also growing. We have been getting good rains lately and i managed to get urea on before the rains. Plots looked good three days ago but when i checked this morning one of the plots is turning yellow And purple. Is it possible to get to much rain? Are they water logged? Need even more N? Any advise?

Usually when mine get that yellow/purple they are lacking N.

I just gave them 150lbs of urea 8 days ago. Could they still be lacking?

If you have a high clay content to your soils then yes they could need some dry out time. A pic would be good for the guys here to see.

Here are some pics.13813655_1178957378792540_3638661499642962094_n.jpg1.jpg 13590347_1178957868792491_7966842744731647104_n.jpg 13627115_1178957518792526_2456122604919599227_n.jpg 13631651_1178957662125845_2750976550981643995_n.jpg 13709759_1178957415459203_3087101934573819714_n.jpg 13731714_1178957448792533_2271341605950510579_n.jpg 13782105_1178957702125841_8576993404459866536_n.jpg 13813655_1178957378792540_3638661499642962094_n.jpg 1.jpg 13590347_1178957868792491_7966842744731647104_n.jpg 13627115_1178957518792526_2456122604919599227_n.jpg 13631651_1178957662125845_2750976550981643995_n.jpg 13709759_1178957415459203_3087101934573819714_n.jpg 13731714_1178957448792533_2271341605950510579_n.jpg 13782105_1178957702125841_8576993404459866536_n.jpg 1.jpg 13590347_1178957868792491_7966842744731647104_n.jpg 13627115_1178957518792526_2456122604919599227_n.jpg 13631651_1178957662125845_2750976550981643995_n.jpg 13709759_1178957415459203_3087101934573819714_n.jpg 13731714_1178957448792533_2271341605950510579_n.jpg 13782105_1178957702125841_8576993404459866536_n.jpg looks like alot of them are repeats. This plot was fine two days ago. The soil is pretty sandy and we have been getting some good rains (1/2 to an 1") each time so maybe all the N leached through already. I have 2 other plots of this stuff planted at the same time and they are not doing this. Weird ha? They have alot of weed compitition but so do the other plots. Any thing i can use this late in the game to kill the weeds .

They very well could be lacking other nutrients besides just nitrogen. P K that type of thing. I thought purple is a good indication of potassium lacking in the soil. Yellow = nitrogen, brown is too much water. I could be wrong though. Generally when my brassicas get like that I drop a couple bags of 17-17-17 to sorta cover everything and they perk right back up.

I am going to see if i can find some bagged stuff to put on there. I know i can get bulk from my co-op. Suppose to start raining to morrow afternoon so if i could get it on before the rain it would be perfect. I also have rye to combine so that has to come first. Not enough time in a day sometimes. Thank you for the help guys.
