The Land of Milk and Honey

Big day yesterday. I helped dad burn a little corner of a pasture that didn’t go when we burned the main part a couple weeks ago, got some spraying done to prep for my buffer strips, fixed a hydraulic leak on the 3020 and used it to lightly disc my corn plot to chop the stalks. Weather was perfect and dad sure seemed to enjoy spending the day together. He even bought me a biscuit from McD’s! 😃

That's a great day!!!

How is it that kids make it 10 times harder but 1,000 times more enjoyable?!

When you get permission to do something new, don't waste any time. Haha! We had winterized the 3 point sprayer so I got the backpack sprayer and nuked the new buffer strips before the old man could change his mind. 🤣 Ordered seed already as well. If you do any amount of backpack spraying I would seriously look into one of these three-nozzle wands. One of the best investments I have made.

Late to the party, but where did you get that three headed wand?

Weather was right and the ground was damp and soft so I decided to pull the trigger and spread my NWSG seed. Started with the switch. High is 87 today so it should have the temps it needs.
