Single best year at my place in 8 years. By like 600%

142 inch gross 9. I'm liberal with the tape so let's say between 135 and 142.

Very nice deer, congrats.

You guys are tearing them up on your farm. Your work/plan seems to be coming together. Congrats!

I said it on the other thread and I'll say it again, one hell of a year for you. Big time congrats!

How many total inches of antler this year?

Thanks!

Just added it up roughly 720 inches in three weeks. Ask my buddies and I predicted our worst year ever in October because my cameras weren't producing anything much all summer or fall. Of all the deer that fell we only had a few pics of two of them. The rest are breaking a neighbors heart.

This has never happened here, I don't get it. I always say my deer Don't show up, they grow up. I'm happy but baffled.

Maybe it's all that Viagra you put in your plots? :)

Incredible year Bill, congratulations

Congrats Bill! Sounds like all the work is paying off.

Wow, you just keep knocking them down! What is your farms average this season? Has to be 140+????

Congrats. What a year.

Fantastic year Bill. You obviously are doing everything right.

Awesome Bill! Congrats. One heck of a season.

On a side note...I noticed in 2 of your other threads that there is a plastic gas can that is displayed obviously and intentionally with the buck. Just wondering what's up with that?

Congrats Bill. I knew you would knock one down.

I saw that to. I just thought it was to give a sense of size.

Another nice one, congrats!! How many acres is your place?

Must be those poor man's food plots. Well done. I said this last year as well, u are doing everything right.

A great year indeed!

That seems to be the average. But again I'm liberal with the tape so let's say 135 ish

Yes I try to that with the bucks that are wide. It helps give perspective to the width. This guy lacked in width. 16" inside if it weren't for tine length and 22 inch main beams he may have been a mistake.

This will sound misleading as it would seem it would hunt huge, but it's not. I have 240 acres of manipulated land. (Still manipulating)

I lease an additional 900 acres in one block. Sounds like a lot but it's about 350 acres open crop land with a few fingers of timber running through it. 400 of it is cow pasture which never gets hunted. It's not worth the time to sit with cows. Total huntable timber in 900 is about 150 acres.

Without really knowing it I bought in a unique area of Northern MO. I have huge neighbors. One with 4000 acres another with 1500 and another with 1000. There are a couple of smaller farms around but the bulk of the area is controlled by just a few people and I lucked into the middle of them.

Congrats Bill!
