Connected this morning on a doe... this doe did a kamakize into a tree. She must of broke her neck. On a side note food processor arent open on sundays. Probably going to stop hunting September .

Congrats! The butcher being closed stinks. Mine gave me his cell number. One September he turned the cooler on for the first time that fall because of me:)

Been after this hog for over two months. Finally met up with him at midnight last night.

First sit of the season at the farm.
Little windier than I'd like it at the moment but should calm down a bit towards sundown.

Had 3 days of rain an a 20 degree drop in temp.

Sitting in the old crab stand, was foiled here last year by a mear twig.

Got out for my first hunt of the year Monday night, ended up seeing four bucks with ten deer total.

Went over to the other farm last night and saw one deer late to far away and dark to tell if buck or doe.

Just got into stand overlooking food plot that had two doe in it on my approach. I waited until they moved off before continuing in. Was able to stalk within 20 yards of one of them along the wood line because the wind is so noisy. Was slightly tempted to take her but it's a long season and I have some venison leftover.
