Howboutthemdawgs
5 year old buck +
Do you just slip out of it to draw your bow?
Wow, sorry to see that.Happened upon another dead one today. That's ten on the year and we haven't even looked yet. Last seen in velvet, but he did have the velvet stripped prior to death. Probably a nice 2 yr old.

So far, I’ve enjoyed watching this young buck. Hopefully in a couple of years, he’ll be on the target list. This will be the last sit for the 24–25 season. It’s 26°, and dropping as a cold front comes in. We have a northwest wind of 14 miles an hour. I have the bow with me tonight, and have had my target buck on camera twice this week.
There is a part of me that would like to be at home watching football with my wife, but my odds of seeing my target buck are better here in the blind. I’m happy to be out, and am blessed to have been able to hunt as much as I did this season.

One more update. My target buck I’ve been after all season just went by but out to bow range. I didn’t get a picture because I was focusing on a shot should he have turned in.So far, I’ve enjoyed watching this young buck. Hopefully in a couple of years, he’ll be on the target list.

I play euchre a few times a year, usually at family get togethers after the kids go to bed.Season ended last weekend. Ended on a high note as I saw 8 living deer. Tonight it's live from the euchre table. Any players here? It's a midwest game for the most part.
