Do you just slip out of it to draw your bow?

The IWOM has sleeves that allow you to shoot a bow or gun. I keep my bow across my lap, other hand in the muff with a handwarmer. My bow hand got a little cold but the rest of me was comfy.

This will be the last sit for the 24–25 season. It’s 26°, and dropping as a cold front comes in. We have a northwest wind of 14 miles an hour. I have the bow with me tonight, and have had my target buck on camera twice this week.

There is a part of me that would like to be at home watching football with my wife, but my odds of seeing my target buck are better here in the blind. I’m happy to be out, and am blessed to have been able to hunt as much as I did this season.

I’m on some public land giving it a go. It’d be nice to see something. I’m way off the cover after getting too close last night and busting everything out.

I should have taken a pic yesterday. Went out and stuck a cam in the patch of woods next to where my office is at work. Maybe 2.5 acres? Saw two groups of deer, probably 16 in total. Left work about 10 minutes later, saw another 15 or so. 🙄

So far, I’ve enjoyed watching this young buck. Hopefully in a couple of years, he’ll be on the target list.

One more update. My target buck I’ve been after all season just went by but out to bow range. I didn’t get a picture because I was focusing on a shot should he have turned in.

How exciting that on my last sit of the season I finally put eyes on a deer I’ve been after all season. This was the first time I have seen him in person.

The 2024/25 season ended with a beautiful sunset. I saw three does and two bucks this final evening in a stand, including Eleven, my season long target buck. At 70 to 100 yards, all were slightly out of range for the bow, but it made for a great conclusion to this season.

Nice way to end the season, 356. Could've seen nothing, but several deer & your target is around for another year - and that sunset is a sight to behold. Thanks for posting.

Not live anymore, but decided to sit tonight. Saw 22-25 deer, no good bucks so I decided to blast a doe at closing time.

Despite a double lung hit she made it off the field and fell into a ditch.

Getting her out without help was…interesting. I basically had to grab around her chest and front squat her up a couple feet at a time. Wore me out, but I guess that’s why I lift weights.

That’s a wrap for the season, now the real fun starts.

Season ended last weekend. Ended on a high note as I saw 8 living deer. Tonight it's live from the euchre table. Any players here? It's a midwest game for the most part.

I play euchre a few times a year, usually at family get togethers after the kids go to bed.

Grew up playing sheepshead with my grandma, then played hearts for a few years and now mostly euchre..

Beautiful trophy wall!

Never played euchre, family always played sheephead ,used to have Wednesday games.

My parents play that and crib. We are all originally from Minnesota so it makes sense. But good lord that wall. Hopefully your foundation can support all that bone
