Live from the stand thread

There's none of the typical grouse as a North American would think of them. We do have "black grouse" and capercaillie, but they are really difficult with a pointer. They like to fly off at the nearest hint of a dog or human. I did have a capercaillie land in a treetop near me when I was moose hunting in Sweden, but I was moose hunting. The bullet I was using would have made it explode. Here on the West coast of Norway, it's a bit too rainy to have a really good population of anything that's not waterproof. We get about 90 inches of rain per year.
