We snuck in north of the swamp, w south wind at 1100. Wife just had big boy as he is now being called, chasing a doe wide freaking open. Apparently they did a circle around her tree, right below her. She tried the ole bawl to stop them and they just kept moving. She said there was another buck not much smaller in tow.
Now they are up the ridge down wind. They ran within 100 yards of me but I never seen or heard them it's so thick!

Our season is being labeled, "this close"!

Changing it up tonight, sitting on top of some food. Soybeans, corn, rape, radish, turnips and apples.

Sounds like the ole lady had the wide 10 at 40.....story of our lives

Beans in front of me had tons of pods two weeks ago. Looks like 75% of the pods are gone. Lots of tracks. 20 acres of corn to my left and 37 acres behind me. Solid bedding nearby. Perfect spot for a buck to be looking for love.

We have a buck sighting! Little 8pt stood up about 75yds east of me. He's scanning the plot.
