60 and calm here. I've never had flys buzz me in shotgun season until today. A single doe at 630 and that's it. 4 other guys in hunting with haven't seen anything. Does were out in the field when we got in last night at 11ish so don't expect much this morning hunt. Only been 4 shots in ear shot of me so far. New property so not sure if that's a lot or a little for this area. Expectit to be better in the evening. 20 degree shift tomorrow should be better hunting. Good luck and shoot straight

Slow morning for me my neighbor shot three times. Thats where I was expecting them to come from.

Buddy hunting 300 yds from me just sent me this. Not sure if a bad bow kill or just coyote got him. Have him on camera young 10 would have been good in a few years

Getting ready to head for my daily afternoon sun bathing.

I need more south wind stands. It’s November where is my NW wind??

I was thinking the same thing. Was there for 2.5 weeks and had south wind every hunt but 2. I've got 2 new south wind plots in the planning stages.

2 beautiful flushes with good follow up marks.
Can't help herself from jumping in the slough and making a mess of things though.

Only about 6 in all hearing distance here too. Least we ever heard. The 1 we're after was seen by multiple people including me and he slipped thru the cracks as far as I can tell. He's out of his main range now though. Chasing a doe big time. I saw 4 other small bucks pick up her trail throughout the morn. I need a less stressful hobby. You guys know anything about needle point or stamp collecting?

I like to restore antique lighting in the off season. Used to be cars but their to expensive. There’s lots of things more stupid than smelly bucks.

2 shots so far around me. And one opossum. Moved a stand about 40 yds yesterday there were 2 runs I didn't even know were there, but the overall visibility is terrible. It needs cleaned up for sure. Seems to be the going theme this year.

Lasalle. Least amount of shooters I can recall. We are cwd and I think the sniper season which runs til April really took a toll this year. I knew of 2 good ones. 1 got taken down by bow last wk. Basically hunting for 1 buck now, plus does. A surprise could always show up.

Not to far away, I'm in Cass. I need a doe for meat. Let a lot walk early hunting two bucks but free time is over. Any show up from here until Jan and they die.

Well the big boy got shot on the adjoining farm this morn. I knew the deer for 4 years and have found 3 sets of his sheds. Think I'm going head out and spend the weekend with my family.
