Skunked again. Hopefully the high pressure after the storm gets em moving. Activity has really been slow with this low pressure.

This is gonna be a long term low pressure, hi wind nasty storm. They will be bedding for a while. Sleep in tomorrow and maybe sneak out mid day for a couple of hours, be were they are traveling to food. Hang in there and good luck!

Same as the last two years he hunts and I cook turkey breast, green bean casarole, taters, gravy etc.

But the last two years it was jerky by the time we got to it because he killed one. Maybe this year we’ll get to eat it on time. But I hope not.

I’ve tried to tell Jr. that. He’s not having it. First stand of the year and he’s not skipping it. He is going to a box though. 30-40 mph winds and gusts up to 60.

He’ll learn, wisdom is not pasted down, it is earned by f’ing up

Any luck with the tracking dog? Friends here hit a good 1 last weekend and the blood ran dry. They photographed the buck tonight in the field, looking pretty strong.

Its freezing rain here with some sleet mixed in for good measure. Im not mad enough at them to sit through that.
