New lessons learned.

A little soil prep can go a long way. Proper soil chemistry can make things grow. Marvin is up there right now. Hope to see better pics in a day or two. Sounds like the pumpkins are coming along nicely too.

I should probably fess up and show you the bad one too. This one did not get roughed up with the harrow. We've got bald spots where we got some topsoil in the bucket when scraping with the skid loader. I wonder if a guy shouldn't just go solid rye after a crude prep like that.

Hope to get the rest of the better pics tomorrow.

Just tell people those bald spots are from all of the deer in area 172.:D
