Trail camera battery question

I have several Bushnell trail cams mostly the trophy cam E2 12mp and a couple of the newer 20 mp.
Only two of them have the energizer lithium which I know are the best for cold weather
I had bought a lot of the energizer max that I got a good price for around $0.36 each. How good do they work when the lows are the upper teens to low 20's. Thanks

While I don’t have those specific cams. Upper teens and low twenties, the batteries should still perform fine not like lithium’s but I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Remember alkaline batteries over time don’t put out the consistent voltage that lithium’s do. Where you’ll notice a difference is night imagery as the battery goes through it’s life cycle the imagery will get darker and when the batteries get to 25% sometimes you’ll think your camera is broken because the flash stops working.... just needs new batteries.
