Reminds me of a few years ago opening morning of rifle hunting. Headed towards the stand in the dark, along the way I had to take a dump, I was far enough from the stand so I did. Got up in the stand and about 15 minutes went by and the gut started to roll, so down I went. Got back up and half hour later it hit again, another trip down. About 10 minutes before sunup here we go again. There was no holding back so I took another trip. Now I've been up and down the tree with a climber 3 times. I just packed up and headed for home. Got home and the wife asked what I got cause I was home so early. Told her what happened and that I must be coming down with the flu . Her face turned 4 shades of red and said I'm sorry. I told her there nothing to be sorry about I just am getting sick. She said she was sorry again. She then said she thought I needed more bran and fiber in my diet and put some in last night supper. I can laugh at it now but didn't back then.
Sat after the rain was finished and saw lots of small bucks cruising around and about 10 meatheads with fawns. No chasing. Has not started yet here. Most interesting thing was watching a fawn cry after he got left behind from his mom when she cont on while he screwed around.
Checked five cams earlier, had quite a few does with fawns yet. Hardly any buck action. No activity seen from the stand yet. Wind is all over the place, south to northwest back to the south about 10mph. Very little for scrapes and rubs. Close to 70 the next few days, not good.
Too beautiful of a morning to be in stand. The nice buck I saw yesterday walked down the trail below me. This trail is a scape highway. Nice easy walking at the edge of swamp-ridge. Bedding cover is abundant
Swamp
I think you did. I saw one doe last night by herself browsing through the woods. It was very quiet last night, never heard any chasing or grunting. Didn't kick anything up on my walk back home last night either. Very quiet this morning.

Had a friend that never saw a deer yesterday morning that hunts about 3/4 mile from me. Another friend never saw a deer last night. The doe I saw last night came out very late. Heard three different yote packs yakking at each other right at dark last night. Nothing for me this morning. My cams were still showing does and fawns hanging together.
Grrrrrrrr, just had that 160" 11 pointer at 70 yards!! Bastard was walking the easy road right towards me, but turned up the thick ridge. At 0800 he walked through here two days in a row. He's bedded down wind now so it's not happening today. He's the only deer I saw
I'm gonna have to use the scrape highway to get outta here. Might scare a doe up along the swamp, but I need to keep my distance from big boy
I'll have the wind to kill him tomorrow morning. Just gotta get lucky that's why it's hunting and so much fun
