Good luck all! Still at work but I'll be out there tomorrow, sound like they might be moving good for some of you. Supposed to 37 and a NW wind in the A.M.
I was out in my tree 2 years ago and around 7 am a fighter jet from Fort McCoy came over and broke the sound barrier. Never heard him coming and the sound wave nearly scared the shizz out of me ...
It's time and the wind is 0 to south in the morning.
Heading here for the first time in months. I may be a few days early but everything else lines up so I have to try.
Out again today. One lone (and very cautious) doe so far.
I just had what I believe to be a least weasel below me. I don't think I've ever seen one before. He was TINY. Maybe 6 inches long with a 2 inch tail? He saw me and didn't approve!

Caught an antler moving in the brush. Got the binos up and watched a forker browse the heck out of a shrub, most likely a hazelnut. Thought about calling him in but decided not to try.
A big fat zero this morning! Never saw a deer. I thought maybe it would be a good morning after what I saw yesterday morning. The weather is going to kill us for the rut here. Was 78 degrees yesterday.
A buddy and I are both sitting on food plots this afternoon. Little evidence of rut activity yet so hoping to get my target buck feeding tonight. He was here before close earlier in the week.
