Cuddelink 2020 GEN 2 version

Yep, get them on the location #, and right channel and everything else can be sorted out online. I like how all remotes go off of the Home unit time and date too. So far, gen 2 is really nice and I've had zero issues
I didn't realize the remotes go off the home time. SO it automatically sets them once they link up?

That is my understanding. I thought that I read that on here some where

Has the time frames changed? I used to receive pictures at 6am and 6pm when set to 12 hr batch. Now it is 12am and 12pm. Can this be changed, if so how?

Cuddeback recently added the ability to change flash settings to the site- so for those asking for it , it should be there now.

Thanks. Is there any plans to be able to change picture quality?

no, it cant be done via rf and get reliable and fast enough transmission at this time. Cuddeback is aware that some people want this ability but until it can be accomplished it wont be added.

im checking on this as i wasnt aware of a change but in the mean time you can change your cc to batch 30, then set your camera up to receive a report at 6am and and 6pm and it should accomplish what you need if your desire is only twice a day unless the que is maxed out.

yes they are based off the cell unit. it will at times take a day for this function to reset everything

Seems like the rollout has been pretty well bug free? Haven't seen many issues posted here or on Facebook. I am really liking being able to control the cameras remotely. Be nice if everything was able to be controlled remotely and I am sure that is the end goal with this. I think this along with some long term battery solutions has really improved the system.

It has been very bug free so far. Many struggle with the fact that commands arent done in real time, when the fact is they can take some time to take affect. Worst case scenario is 24 hours. Adding additional report times per day will help speed it up if faster response is needed.
I dont think that anytime soon we will get to the point where Firmware can be updated remotely or hi rez images can be sent on command, but most everything else will get there. In fact, almost all of it is there now.
We always appreciate input and try to implement what technology or cost will allow us to do.

By the way, I saw a gentleman from Cuddeback at the Iowa Deer Classic a few weeks ago. I stopped by to buy some battery packs and to chat with the guy at the booth. I forgot his name, but he knew you. I sung your praises and all of the support you've provided this forum.

With the new system can Customer Service now log into your system if you are having issues to troubleshoot? It would seem if possible that would be a great help to resolve problems.

That would be nice. Have a CHECK MY CAM button to click on on the Cell Management page. Describe the problem etc.

yes- anyone can if you give them user name and password and yes this will be a great CS tool. It will allow CS to insure all settings are correct, to determine if cell coverage is sufficient where the cell unit is placed and more.

Dan Schultz is who you met and he is VP of Sales . Dan and i work very closely on all factors involving Cuddeback. He is a big reason why they are having so much success right now. He puts a ton of hours in helping customers and making sure things are improving all the time from a user standpoint by working directly with the engineers to constantly improve the system. i appreciate the support and acknowledgment!

Does anyone have a source for Rayovac D batteries? Last June I purchased a pack of 105 on ebay for 67.00 on John's recommendation, they worked fine. I just went back to ebay and the price is between 95 and 100.00 from same supplier. Not sure if it's cause of the COVID virus or other reason.

Make a lower offer to him, they are higher now but they will sell them at a lower price than 95

OK I'll try it

Can you run aa alkaline batteries in the j's with the additional battery packs? How about rechargeable aa batteries and the extra power packs. Have quite a few j cameras and would hate not to take advantage of extra power if possible.
