I was watching a video on you tube I believe where a guy put a headshot on a doe with one and missed but the pressure from the bullet going by killed the deer.

6.5 Grendel is an excellent deer round. I built one a couple years ago built it on a Stiller lower JP upper Les Baer bolt and barrel great shooting gun plenty of knock down but I see no need for a muzzle break

Nice rig 247! Top notch components! I couldn’t pass up some of the black fri prices on muzzle devices! What rounds you had the best luck with? Seems like allot of guys are running hornady 123sst’s

Nice rig 247! Top notch components! I couldn’t pass up some of the black fri prices on muzzle devices! What rounds you had the best luck with? Seems like allot of guys are running hornady 123sst’s

I reload all my ammo I like 120 Nosler BT I also shoot 130 Sierra Gameking and Berger 130 VLD but there are not a lot of hunting bullets in the 123gr but lots of match bullets and the gun shines with the 100 to 123 gr bullets

Nice! I enjoy reloading. I am a big fan of the 120 noslers. I actually load them with reloaded 17 for my 6.5CM. They shoot sub moa at 3k FPS out of a 22” barrel. Hoping this gren shoots them well with cfe223 powder. I ordered some 100gr Barnes and 130 seirra tipped match kings to try as well.
What powder you use for your gren?

What powder you use for your gren?

I like IMR 8208XBR and Varget for my Grendel but have become a big fan of the 6.5 round I now own two 6.5 cm one bolt gun one AR10 and a 6.5x47 lapua bolt gun light recoil and shoot like Laserbeama
