A few habitat pics I thought you might enjoy

The biggest buck I've seen on my property this year is a spike that isn't as big as the smallest single tine on those bad boys. WOW!

Wild afternoon. I set paralyzed for a while. Had both deer in the pic below and 2 more smaller 10 points. The wide deer had stuff hanging and worked over a bush before he left. I will pull cards tomorrow morning. I should have them on cam.

He looks really good in that pic. That had to be a tough pass.

Thanks Mortenson. The last time my target showed on cam was Saturday evening before dark when I couldn't be there. I'm starting to wonder if he could have changed ranges. The 10 point is showing up all the time now.

Big tines - and tall, too. Nice crop of bucks there like usual. Must be rough ............... 👀

Me thinks that’s what it looks like when you eliminate all of their nutritional gaps.

You should see the feasting going on in this. It would be dangerous walking around at night.

Lots of good eating there! Those are WAY ahead of mine, but I will hopefully have something similar yet this fall. Curious to see how a later maturing variety compares to what I had a couple years ago.

I told a buddy of mine that on this day the old ones would be in extra early due to the storm front moving in. Sure enough, they were plenty early. For right now, I'm still waiting for the Freak to come back before I start hunting again.

Hope he shows up soon. Whether front with cool air always gets them up this time of year. Bank on it.

Please repost some pics of the freak.

I'd agree he is worth the wait!
