USA to "take over" the Gaza Strip

I'll bite. Tucker is a Putin sympathizer and has been for years. I don't believe a thing he says about Ukraine or Russia.
I'm being completely open minded when I ask this.

Do you think he's disregarding good reporting standards to get to the story he wants even if it's shaky at best, or potentially an outright lie?

or

Is he knowingly participating in pro-russian propaganda?

His tour around Russia was pro-russian propaganda, IMO. What he's saying in your attached clip, I'm not sure, I'd like to see the whole thing, hate for 1 minute to be out of context. Like I said earlier, I'm just skeptical of Tucker regarding anything Russia.

He was parading around grocery stores talking about how good their prices are compared to ours knowing that that shithole is on the brink of collapse. That’s propaganda

And for the record I like Tucker. I just think he’s got some Russia love for some reason that I can’t see past

That's fair.

"Putin pupit"
"Election denier"
"Anti vaxer"
"Racist"
" transphobe"
"Conspiracy theorist"

Ever notice how they use these short, easy to remember labels so they can easily let us know who the bad people are? That way we don't have to think, just read the label and move on.

That the left hates Tucker so much makes me think there could be some truth to things he is saying.
Time will tell.

I never saw any of the Tucker stuff but I doubt he was lying about grocery costs. The cost of goods in all of Eastern Europe would make your head spin compared to what things cost here.

Our government officials wearing the Ukraine colors was propaganda. Russian collusion with hunters laptop was propaganda. Can't believe anything the media says anymore. jmo

Wrote him off a long time ago. I just don’t see any value in listening to a guy that I have to wonder whether I can’t trust it or wonder what his motives are.

This fits with why I quit watching any 24 hour news channel. Better options out there.

I have not been to Europe for some years. But in many ways the lifestyle there reminds me of New York City. Folks buy their groceries at the store on the corner....and eat at the delicatessen locally.

Most only buy a bag or two and walk to their apartments with what they can carry. Fast food and huge grocery stores do not really exist for many....and folks do not buy in bulk or have multiple freezers to store things (for the most part). Many just buy their daily needs locally....and pay premium prices for locally baked and prepared foods.

I never been to Europe, nor do I want to go, but I have been all over the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Bermuda, Central America, and even the prices in most of their straw markets are a fraction of what we pay here. But if you want cheap, go into towns, and shop where the locals shop, not the tourist parts of town, and the prices are even cheaper. It is just stupid for the prices we pay here.

I am 100% certain that some Ukrainians are selling weapons on the black market. During the first year that the conflict started, there was proof that some of the weapons we were supplying to them were being sold to God-knows-who.

Is it still happening? Probably.
Is it still happening at the rate it was back then? Probably not.

Ukraine was and is a corrupt shithole. You can't expect them all to be righteous. I have no idea what happened to the people who were selling Stinger missiles on the black market. I like to think they go their comeuppance.

That does not change my overall belief that the Ukrainians are fighting a proxy war for us. Putin wants to take Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, and Romania. If the Ukrainians are happy to fight the Russians (and now the North Koreans), then I am happy to fund them.

All he is thinking about is how he can make money. you ever hear of a Megalomaniac?

You should read more about markets and how they work. The only reason we have low prices in America is because we have poor people. The market forces of poor people pull the overall national prices down. You will still see regional differences, and even local differences between stores that aim for different economic levels of consumers they are targeting.

It's not even unique to retail. Real estate is constantly guilty of trying to price people out of markets. It is a fascinating force in US markets that generally doesn't exist in Europe. I know you said you never want to visit Europe, but I think that is a strange attitude. If you took an extensive tour of Europe, you would see a variety of cultures dealing with a variety of issues. It would be extremely educational, and probably enjoyable (depending on your disposition).

I have lived in Europe for a long time, and I am a citizen of a European country. This is by no means a handicap. In fact, it has given me perspective that few people on Earth can say they have. I have also lived in East Asia for over half a decade, and I can use my experience to judge shifts in global power and economy.

I don't think the mentality of "I've never been there, so it must be worthless" is helpful to anyone. There is a lot of insight to be gained by visiting other places. It absolutely helps to judge your own society when you can compare it to others. You can much more easily see what would work and what would not. You can also see the reasons for all this.

To come full circle, the same applies to markets. It really pays to have experience. I have experience in markets in the 3 main continents. I'm far from an expert, but I can read things better in any market based on my experience.

Sorry if this seemed like a rant, but I just balk at the idea that ignorance is a good thing.

Religion of peace putting their best foot forward again. They need to bulldoze that place with the people still there

Not with the people still there. With the terrorists still there.

From what I’ve seen not much distinction unfortunately. They literally parade dead kids bodies around. The stories of the hostages being held in “regular” families homes and how the kids spoke to them is unimaginable

I get what you are saying by the way, but we have politicians that will say stuff like that and then expect someone else to bear that burden.
