I hope to make this an ongoing post by going over the NFL greatest of all time by positions. Goat. First category. The wishbone. After discussing we have Barry Sanders Hershal Walker and Bo Jackson on our list. Please chime in hope to make this fun.

Wide Reciever, Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss,

Super freak (Moss) is the WR GOAT, just didn’t have Jerry rice work ethic
Hard to argue against Brady for QB
LT or ray lewis for LB?

I'm with Barry Sanders and Jerry Rice! Tony Gonzales for TE? Dante Hall for returns?

Didn't Moss only go deep? I could be wrong on that.

Tony Gonzalez put up big numbers for an incredibly long time but I never really noticed because the teams weren’t good. I think gronk and mr Pfizer have better receiving #s per games played and a bunch of rings they contributed to winning.

Dante hall was a stud! Deion and devin Hester are two that I remember being electric in the return game too.

I was always impressed by the guys who weren't flashy but just got the job done. Like Gore becoming the 3rd leading rushing of all time and Fitzgerald the 2nd leading receiver of all time. Not saying they were the best, but just quietly kept climbing the charts.

If being on a winning team and rings were a requirement I don't think much could be said about Barry Sanders.

My favorite RB was Adrian Peterson. I remember being so excited when the Vikes drafted him ! He did not disappoint!

Best 2-3 yr stretch of any RB. That being said, some backs like Emmit Smith were maybe not as flashy , but steady and put up incredible numbers .

I’d go Peterson, Smith, Sanders, Dickerson, & Walter Payton (top 5)? It’s a tough choice .

Jim Brown was tougher than a box of nails. Adrian Peterson just plain worked his ass off and earned his yards. Walter Payton was smoooooth.

There were many great players that no one is old enough to have been able to watch. Back when there was leather helmets and one little bar for face protection and they were all missing teeth. The good ole days

Terry Bradshaw only got his chance to play after Phil Robertson(duck dynasty guy) gave up his starting QB position in college to make duck calls. Terry was his back up.

The Purple People Eaters used to be so much fun to watch. They were awesome in their time.....but I'm not so sure they would compete well today? Some would...but things change.

Same could be said about Fran Tarkenton or Broadway Joe Namath......great in their day.....but they had a novel game that was new to the league at that time.

Emit smith? Not even top 10 in my book. Product of maybe the best o line ever.
Rb, Sanders, Payton, faulk.

Tight ends kellen Winslow and gronk

Reggie White, Howie Long The old timers would kill todays players if the rules were the old rules and not todays flag football.

Safety - Ed Reed. Word is Ronnie Lott was the man too but I don't remember watching him play.

Sure do miss the days of team rosters staying the same and players started and ended their careers with ONE team. Now it's not knowing who is on what team and fantasy football might be bigger than the actual games. Different times for sure. Not a fan of the kick offs changing every couple of years and there's hardly ever even a return attempt. Can't hit a guy too hard or you might get ejected from the game. Let them play a contact sport and hit. jmho

Are you familiar with CTE? It's a stain on football and the very sad reality is many of these players will leave the sport with brain damage that makes life very difficult. I have no issue with taking small steps to try to mitigate some of the serious injuries.
