Pine Hill Farm

I'll bet a blood test on you after that would have showed 50% real blood - and 50% adrenaline!!! Big WOW on that experience. Got your cardio in during that whole episode, Cool Hand Luke!

I had a similar incident years ago while in a tree stand. (no shot from me though). 2 bucks fighting, all-out war. I was afraid to get down after it ended, the winner hung around huffing & grunting - so I stayed up in my tree a long time after dark. Glad you had your high-octane experience!!
Wow that sounds amazing! I can relate to the not wanting to get down, books can be down right mean during the rut! Things got even more crazy here today. Hopefully I’m sharing the rest of the story tomorrow with a punched tag. Happy punkin time Illinois!

And just like that, 140 years of history gets re-written. No one had ever seen a deer on this land. The Pine Hill Farm has always been crop land and open cattle pasture. (HABITAT IS EVERYTHING) After a year of blood, sweat and tears and some serious faith, we started a new chapter. It all starts with a seed of faith in fertile ground. Cultivate, plant, pray for rain and reap the harvest. Our family is once again blessed with the bounty of this land. This is just a more organic approach. Couldn’t be more thankful than I am right now. AMEN.

Congrats on your deer! Kiddos look pretty happy too. Habitat work/fun pays off. Good things still to come!

Great job, Luke! Like bows said, it’ll only get better!
