I'm breaking all my rules. Hunting early and in the same stand twice in a row. After I left last night a porker showed up on camera and there were deer in the clover patch all night so I didn't blow the stand.
Same wind today but stronger, blowing my stink into the cow pasture.
So yee yee yee, Live Action.
Here is further left in the clover. deer skirt between the corn and the tree my camera is on. The dirt patch n the clover is an old mineral site. No more of that allowed in my county but at least I don't have to cover it.
I could have but I was hunting suburban deer. He helps keep the rabbits and squirrels out of my back yard. First grey I have seen though, we have a lot of reds.
Yesterday at 145 had a beautiful thick chocolate timed 10 at 25 yards. The tines faded to white at their ends. Only prob was he was dead on facing me and I'm not going to take that shot. He knew something was not rt and there he was.....gone. Spun and trotted off. Latter the 2 I saw this am no deer till aody 5 then saw 7 meatheads all with fawns. Tomor looks wet here.
