I always thought Patina was the French word for lazy. But seeing how the car isn't full of holes and the kid doesn't have the $ for a full on restoration I'm glad I nudged him in this direction. The grunge look has grown on me. :)

As long as it's solid it is certainly a different look. Like was mentioned - "survivor" cars are one thing and resto cars are another and then you have different schools in-between. Do what you want....and what you like.

Santa brought my son some cool sequential tail lights for Christmas. You know we were right out there wiring those things up today. As Murphy would have it there is a bad LED bank on one side. No biggy we'll get a replacement.

Pretty nifty "once" we get a replacement. I must have some Cuban in me somewhere. :)
