Good place to buy seed in Douglas/ Ottertial/ Todd County area?

I’m looking for a place around here where I can get seed for a decent price.
Winter rye, Oats, clover, and forage radish.
Was paying $20/ bag for Winter rye from the Country Store in Alexandria. Albert Lea seed had it for $13/ bag but its quite a drive.

Pro Ag coop has several locations in the area and I have gotten decent price quotes from them in the past. The pro ag in Henning has had real good prices on rye in the past. Leaf river Ag is also in the area. I haven't bought seed from them but they did deliver lime to me at a fair price.

RJ Hunt seed in Wadena. I've purchased turnips, rape, and radishes from Bob. The seed grew better than seed purchased from other suppliers in the past. I am definitely making them my seed supplier of choice.

I know this is an old thread.....but I had to say this.
I bought seed from Bob Hunt at Wadena when I was new in the game some 15 years ago. He gave me some very solid advice at that time. I bought primarily brassica varieties from him and it was a pretty small purchase on my part.

Here is what is important: I NEVER HAD SUCH A NICE BRADICA PLOT SINCE THAT TIME. I bought DER, PTT, and maybe Bonnar Rape? Cannot remember. But those seeds outperformed anything I have done since. Was it a fluke? Dunno. I think I will buy some Hunt seeds again this fall and compare with things I buy (cheaper) elsewhere. I like Bob and what he is doing.....just was about 25% more due to his small operation and distribution. Maybe he does have magic seeds?

One thing he pointed out was that he could grow pretty nice medium red clover on light soil by using sulfur, even though the pH might not be perfect. Our light soils tend to be low pH.

I did tests this year for the first time. It’s all low but grows clover just fine. No idea how many varieties I have out there. It’s a bunch. I plan on trying to raise the ph a little but it won’t be a fast process.
