One of my best all time shots. Was riding back from the hog hunt and saw a coon running down the trail. Again, one quick shot from the ranger at 150 yards. That is why you never get full windshield on SxS
let me correct - one of my luckiest shots - it was running down trail away from me.![]()
Haha - it was in the cup holder on the ranger. The Coors light is probably what helped make that shot - calmed my nerves.Who was holding your Coors Light while you made the shot?

where are the bee colonies?Been working on making this five acre field a pollinator field - this will be the third year of effort. Mowing and a lot of spraying and one planting of pollinator seed mix. I still need to spray the johnson grass another time. Not sure if each species is a result of the planting or was already in the seed bank. Every week something new shows up.

My closest are 1/2 mile. I also have some about a 1 1/2 miles and some more six miles. Interestingly enough, our abandoned house converted to deer camp had a bee hive in eave 1/4 mile from pollinator field - circled in red - contractors would not go to work until removed. I tied myself off in a treestand safety harness and was going to remove and save the hive. After about forty stings through my pants and every tight spot in bee suit - and basically being confined to my homemade scaffold - I had to just sit there and take it. I lost my compassion for bees. The next four days I sprayed them with everything I thought would kill them. It took four days to get rid of themwhere are the bee colonies?

The operator was my son in law. Aint no way I was getting in there. I could just see a dunking comingThe operator could have had some fun with that!
Had a similar situation years ago on a prior property. A small pond drain clogged, then when I cleared it, my culvert downstream clogged. That almost washed out my road the back of that property.
