That's about how our Franklin cider tree looks. Couple more years, it may be a big winner - your and ours.Franklin Cider still holding a few today. S Michigan. I haven't been terribly fond of this tree, but it's starting to show some merit.View attachment 85852

We had about 7 inches with wind . I have been driving around our section morning and night and there are very few tracks in or out. Drifts might be restricting movement.^ ^ ^ ^ Nice to see critters coming around to what you've planted for them, Bur. Wildlife sightings in the winter are good for any of us, IMO.
How much snow did you get? Lake effect snows clobbering states east of the lakes (downwind). NW Pa. off Lake Erie got 20"+.
Deer moved from corn to apples and then to alfalfa tonight. I did not wish to shoot any I saw.
I didn't feel like travrling to the farmland I hunt, been too windy. Backyard plot has nothing but freezer queens past few days. Got another wierd buck coming around at night. Bigger 6 point on one sde, other side is either broken or did not develop much more than a inch or two spike. Same side as last years oddball. He was a 6 point with a 4 or 5 inch spike on right side. Maybe same deer. A few nice 8s and a 10, but all middle of the night.Deer moved from corn to apples and then to alfalfa tonight. I did not wish to shoot any I saw.
