Crabapple timeline

This old girl would stand on her back legs and grab crab apples. She probably did it a dozen times. Her fawns and another doe and fawns would not do so.

Later on the two does were on their back legs and boxing each other over the crab apple tree.

Here was my view from the stand. You can see one deer approaching the crab apple tree.

Some deer went straight to the corn and ignored the crab.

Looks like your spruce patch is protecting your deer near the groceries. Good place to bed right next to the chow. I spotted that deer right away!
