Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

Oh and walking through the snow uphill to school both ways during the Winter Of ‘79 , lol. Now I’m poking a little fun at myself for sounding like a geezer.

Was colder during the winter of 1972 here, just say'n. Lol🥶

Wasn’t it the winter of 72 we had that 2 week cold snap where it was 30 below + (WI).

Hard times make hard men :)
It was 28 this morning when I got up. It has been below 0 in the mornings for the last week or more. I caught myself walking the trash out and starting my truck in a t-shirt... 🤣 Felt nice!

I was 6-10 years old during the Carter presidency. My parents bought their first and only new home and paid 18% on their mortgage. We had gas lines even in my little town.

My dad lost his job. There were no other jobs to be had and we had to go on food stamps. I still remember my mom being so embarrassed in line at the grocery store.

Lets call Carter and Biden a tie for the worst in my lifetime.

When Carter died, I did a bit of a deeper dive into his presidency. I think his reputation as a shitty president is mostly unwarranted. The economic crisis caused by the oil embargo and the Iranian revolution were not his fault. In fact, he did his best to improve foreign policy during his presidency and was mostly successful.

Biden's administration went whole-hog on woke bullshit, transitioning children, open borders, and many other horrible policies we are only beginning to feel. The real effects are yet to be felt, and it is my greatest hope that Trump can undo most of it and limit the effects of the Biden years as much as possible.

Presidents have a tendency to get credit/blame based on what happens during their presidency, regardless of what the actual cause is.

I guess i would say it was his fault for relying on oil from overseas in the first place. Drill Baby Drill!!!!

The oil embargo happened years before Carter was elected. How exactly did Carter rely on foreign oil? He had nothing to do with the policies or economic factors that allowed that to happen. During his presidency he took steps toward making the US more energy independent so that we wouldn't experience such a crisis ever again.

Carter would be remembered better if the Iranian hostage rescue had not been a failure. Vietnam had already made America less confident in getting things done our way internationally

His work after leaving the Presidency was much more suited to his style. Habitat for humanity and such. Too soft hearted to be a tough guy.

Joe is just a mentally addeled teleprompt reader. Don't like the guy much but despise the string pullers

I honestly think Biden is a corrupt scumbag. I have zero doubt he’s doing illegal things with foreign actors to the benefit of he and his family. To me that is treason. And treason should be punished to the highest standard. I don’t feel Carter did that so for that reason I feel Biden is way worse.

Carter was inept. I mean he had both houses of congress all 4 years and could not implement a good economic strategy. I do believe he was a good man deep down. Biden is exactly what is wrong with politics today. 50 fricken years in government and a multi millionaire to show for it. NO ONE SHOULD GET RICH IN GOVERNMENT.

I love that Trump has appointed Rocky and Braveheart as ambassadors to keep Kalifornia in check. I’m hoping for a lot of bloodshed.

So Trump is the one day drinking. lol

I used to walk over a mile home. Sometimes with a full bag of football equipment, a French horn and books. The only people that ever offered a ride were weird old people. No thanks. LOL. Everybody else just laid on the horn. In the winter my dad would pick me up but, only if I called so I walked down to the corner store because the guy would let me use the phone. The pay phone at school was a dime I didn’t have. Can you imagine that nowadays. LOL.

"Wildfires" in CA....

California didn't spontaneously combust. Wonder how many of the fires were intentionally started by?

It seems like all of them were intentionally started.
