I don't always watch 24 hour news channels or left wing hacks, but when I do, I cause they tell me exactly what I want to hear.

I wish that I could think of one thing that the WI DNR has done in the last 10 years to help the deer hunting anywhere in WI. Populations are crashing and they keep adding “opportunity” seasons. If they manage everything else like they do the deer, we can survive with them having less funding and a smaller role. The government and our debt has gotten too big. This needs to happen for our kid’s and grandkid’s sake.

I'm sorry to hear your deer hunts aren't going the way you'd like. Curious if you've been attending the fish and game hearings in your area? Gather up everyone you know who isn't happy with the deer situation and go bitch at the meetings.

Also, the DNR happens to help manage the air, water and soil quality in the state. If you're truly concerned about your children and grand children's future the deer herd is pretty low on the list. Talk to the residents of French Island and the Town of Peshtigo, they could give you some insight as to what will truly affect our future generations health.

Trust me JB I don't like all of their decisions and policies either. But we definitely need to keep them around.

Just came across this reference the United Healthcare murder. It’s referenced a few pages back. Killer possibly used a “veterinary pistol”. The tradecraft and the fact that we have a pic of this guy and don’t know who he is yet is starting to make me think this isn’t an isolated crazy. I’m dying to know if anyone who talked to him at the hostel mentioned an accent.

Not disagreeing with you I believe many things the government has done Fed and State is overreaching, corrupt or just flat out stupid.
But….they do get a lot of things right too, especially our forefathers.
Some things are definitely broken, some need fixed. I do believe some are probably fine.

To clarify, fed government. And in the last 50ish years. No doubt our forefathers got it right. It's been bastardized into the atrocity it is now in the last maybe 50 to 60ish years.

See above. Also the journalist lived and worked in the U.S. Remember, freedom of the press is guaranteed by our constitution. Killing, dismembering and dissolving a journalist because he writes things critical of the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia it kind of DOES have “something to do with us”. A big picture kind of deal. Just doesn’t look right to do business with them. Thats why a lot of people were pissed about the Saudi golf thing.

As far as Solman, I don’t care, least of my worries. Not a US citizen and it didn’t happen here. Way to many real things and corruption in our own country to fix.

More than you probably realize. My neighbors were (this is no shit) abducted from their farm house and held for ransom. County sheriff, local police, state police and FBI did some very timely work, got some good luck and found them held in the basement of a house the bad guy owned.
