Bench top chainsaw chain sharpener?

I know I keep posting videos from these Swedish guys... but thought this video did a good job of showing how to sharpen your saw back in the shop (not out in the woods)

They are using a guide similar to this:

(I tried to find the same video with no ads at the beginning, but couldn't find one. Sorry for the ads)

I have this one:

It works pretty well, but you need some mechanical ability to really make it work. Not a precision tool, but useful if you pay attention.

I have roughly the same one that I got at Northern tool. It takes some practice but works great once you learn it.

Here is another option I ran into tonight online:

Never used one, but looks pretty solid to me.

^^^^^ looks idiot proof

Tree Daddy where's the report on this ?

I need to get the Stihl tool, I do the old round file set and it takes forever to touch up.

Tree Daddy where's the report on this ?

I am pleased with this product

I found it to be "as advertised" and get good results on the field boss and arborist saws

Thanks for the input T.D. A good sharpening job is a must for those of us who cut a lot of wood.

I'm doing some chain sharpening today. I usually do a bunch at a time so I have sharp chains on hand. I have a Maxx chain grinder. Once you get the hang of it sharpening chains goes really quick. Switch the grinding wheel to do the rakers.

Is that a diamond grinding wheel? Mine is more of a ceramic. Just curious.

It's a diamond wheel, no need to "dress" the diamond wheel. I use a ceramic wheel to lightly touch the rakers.
