Maybe I can help you out.Obviously
I believe that the research supports me in saying that as corn kernels per area increases, so does pathogen concentration. Maybe draw me a picture and I’ll pick 1 or 2.

You do realize this stuff is everywhere right? Deer on a lip high food plot are exposed. Deer at a muddy waterhole are exposed. Not sure how to draw a clearer picture for you.Maybe I can help you out.

If I could outlaw small muddy water holes, I would do that too.You do realize this stuff is everywhere right? Deer on a lip high food plot are exposed. Deer at a muddy waterhole are exposed. Not sure how to draw a clearer picture for you.
And now, name-calling!Better go after those persimmon trees dropping too Richard.
I don’t know if that’s meant as another insult, but in my lifetime it was controlled! You think baiting or feeding can be controlled Mr. Watson?
I'm going to feed.
Got it.I've already said earlier in this thread that I realize the health implications can be greater at a feeder site than a foodplot.
What’s your point?You can try
Point about what? You started the insults with the whole peanuts deal. I thought we were having a friendly debate, and you had to go and take it personal. What’s your point?
So you try to broadcast my name in retaliation?Point about what? You started the insults with the whole peanuts deal. I thought we were having a friendly debate, and you had to go and take it personal.
A 150lb field dressed buck. If start making ground meat and add20% fat. If making sausages add 50% pork. Might not have been straight 52 weeks but not eating venison every meal ever again.
Now I give ground meat to guys wanting it.You can probably donate meat to a food bank. I shot 5 one year, and we ended up donating about 30 lbs, mostly roasts. We also increased out venison cookbook by about 50% that year.
It's all over social media. Youtube videos on it. Ads for buck bourbon or whatever is the latest craze. Even Lee Lakosky has live videos of deer at his place coming in to tons of bait/feed. Bill Winke has videos with him pouring baitFrom a social perspective I find it funny that guys never post pics of a kill or include in their story the bait pile. I firmly believe 95% or ky hunts over bait. I bet upwards of 80% plus bucks in ky are killed over bait, yet it’s conveniently omitted when talking about the kill. Almost seems a bit of underlying admission it cheapens the accomplishment. At least that’s my interpretation.
And none ever post a grip and grin next to the steel drumIt's all over social media. Youtube videos on it. Ads for buck bourbon or whatever is the latest craze. Even Lee Lakosky has live videos of deer at his place coming in to tons of bait/feed. Bill Winke has videos with him pouring bait
What about the guys posting a pic with deer garden seed? And none ever post a grip and grin next to the steel drum
Edit- some may post a pic with a bag if they are getting paid. But they are shameless whores so their intentions are crystal clear.
Well to clarify posting a pic with any product is lame as can be. But if they actually planted a plot and killed the deer, kudos. That plot had lasting benefits to deer and other species and isnt the immediate, targeted draw of a bait pile. What about the guys posting a pic with deer garden seed?
A food plot is just a way to have food out there for an extended period of time to where they don't have to keep going back out to place food or the expense. Then, many provide feed in feeders for an extended amount of time to supplement when the food plots may not be as attractive or as nutritious.Well to clarify posting a pic with any product is lame as can be. Like you said, there’s a reason biologists trap and dart species over a bait pile and not a food plot. Targeted concentration for easy results.
