Anybody Ever "Bag" their Apples

That's before you pick them off the tree :D. I've been reading about it and thought I'd give it a try. Supposedly a common practice in Japan to get unblemished fruit without spraying. I'm using a plastic sandwich bag with the corners cut off to let air in.

Hopefully I'll have a few perfect apples to show you this fall.

The winds here would remove your bag and fruit along with it! If I had a sheltered orchard I would give it a try on a limited trial. Seems like a very labor intensive project.
