A Close Call

5 year old buck +
I went out today to release some of the wild apples trees i found on our farm.I put on my power saw pants, cut resistent gloves, glasses and helment with ear muffs.I hang up a 6 in poplar bearly in another one so with a idling power saw in my right hand ,I decide to twist a branch with my left hand to finish its fall. The branch breaks and I fall to the ground as the power saw bar swings around and hits me in the mouth.Im spitting blood and my lip is swelling.I drive the half mile home on the 4 wheeler to find in the mirror I just have a cut and swollen lower lip.Very lucky.I had my gear on but I may have to but goalie mask now. Please be careful.I have cut wood for 30 years .

Glad it wasn't worse, there can never be too many reminders like these!
