I've had my neighbor's cows get on my place 5 times this year. Cows and food plots do not mix well, so hopefully your cow moved back home.Figured out what it was today. Got a text message from the neighboring farmer saying a few cattle from a different neighbor were loose and he saw tracks in his field not far from the camera.
Allegedly these aren't even a bordering neighbor's cattle. They are from a few farms away is what I've been told by my neighbor - all his cattle have been accounted for.Hopefully the farmer isn't waiting until bow opener to show up and start looking for his cattle.
Can you tell how they crossed onto your land? Maybe a tree fell on the fence and allowed them to get loose. It has been my experience that some farmers just wait for the cattle to walk back on their own and they don't care how often they leave or how long they stay.
