When's heron season?

I was deleting pics from my phone today. The last deer to walk past my tree stand was January 22nd.
Before that, December 26th. No wonder we don't shoot no deer. Ain't none.

We have a lot of reds, but I don't remember the last time I saw a grey.

Actually Grey's and coyotes can live hand in hand pretty well. Reds on the other hand don't fair as well.

I just got a pic of my first buck with nubs starting.

Hard to tell with this picture being so grainy, but I think this buck has pretty good nubs too. I need to go download the HD picture. His white feet are quite distinct. I have compared it to several other deer and it really sticks out. This looks like an older deer to me.

Here’s sort of a preamble shot to yours from last night, Native Hunter. A coyote and an unsuspecting rabbit. Of course, I tried coyote hunting yesterday for the first time and didn’t have any luck.
