Trailcam pics

^ When you get that feeling you moved into a bad neighborhood.

^ ^ ^ ^ Barred owl with young owlet vs. Great horned owl?? Nice video, Pat!

Here's gif to make you crazy. lol
3 neat/frustrating things going on here;

1. Tried a new camera angle with it up on a big tripod. Usually there's two cameras sort of back to back, now they're facing the same way and you can see the flash in the one photo. (redundant though)

2. It's neat to see how it gets darker as the last ambient light fades away in only ten minutes.

3. This Tactacam flash is suddenly working like crap for some reason. Even with it on High like in these pics, it's throwing very little light. This is a new problem. (grumble grumble grumble)

I agree it is extremely emaciated, the hair loooks normal while they are shedding their Winter coat, but they should be done with that by now at least in maybe all areas but the far north.

There are still some deer that look to be finishing their shedding. There is one doe with a bad hind leg. It could be her.

This one just came in.

This isn’t a trail cam pic to blow your socks off, but I installed a new scrape/rub tree on the edge of my main food plot. Few hours it seemed I had half the deer in the neighborhood visiting to inspect. Initially I thought this was a doe carrying a fawn. After watching the video it was clear it was a pretty chunky fella just starting to put on some antlers.

Seems pretty well fed for the month of May in northern PA after a respectable winter. I hope he continues to visit & look forward to seeing what he becomes this fall.

All this week and last, about 75% of the deer pics I got there, they entered from the left side of the frame. They almost never come in from that way. Makes me wonder what's going on up there?

Dad was working two plots with the tiller(only 6" depth max) to help level them out better for the RTP Genesis 3. He was complaining it was a bit wet still so the sod roots were clumping. After letting it sit for a bit, it starting look way smoother! Oh wait.....
