The end of businesses in Minnesota

Walz was never a head coach
Correct , he was an assistant. Terrible choice as Governor, the fraud is so immense. It’s the biggest story in the nation by far . 100 million views on X

Imagine if he was VP and then became P.

We got guys at work taking 12 weeks off when their kids are born. Hard to get projects going. Paternity leave. Here in NY they take out money for family medical leave.

I like the fact I get a hand if things get rough. Injury, taking care of a dying parent, etc. I don't like that some will be abusing it.

Does this law make it more difficult to hire a person full time...... Another reason a poor sucker has to have 3 part time jobs. There's guys out there who want to put their fair share in and work.

I'm drivng 51 miles in hockey rink tomorrow instead of banging out sick.......

If my business was not generating the revenue it is, I’d be looking real hard at building a shouse on my farm in Iowa and changing my residency! It’s so sickening to pay 8-9% state taxes and then see it go to fraudsters.

Iowa or South Dakota some day . Of course 3 buck tags in Iowa might help the situation 🤔.

Thanks Tim ! 😒

My employer elected to use a private plan that meets or exceeds the state benefits. Not sure if they just thought it would be run better than the state would run it or if they found it more economical.. maybe both?

Depending on how someone is doing financially, getting only a percentage of wages might not be enough for some folks to willingly abuse it.

Minnesota should be dismantled and absorbed by the neighboring states.
Western MN has talked about becoming part of South Dakota . I could only dream of that happening. My county would vote 75% for it .

Only 9 of 87 counties in MN went Blue in the last presidential election and they still easily carried the state. I'd be all for letting Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, and Dakota county remain as "Minnesota" and letting the rest of the state merge into Dakotas, IA, and WI. WI still has Madison and Milwaukee though..

That’s assuming the vouch for 8 law was not being taking advantage of ? If they will steal money & have fraudulent businesses , do you think they would not cast fraudulent votes ? I mean I doubt any Minnesotan would be surprised if there’s not thousands of fraudulent votes coming from Minneapolis & St Paul.

I don't believe you can opt out of the .88% payroll deduction even if your company offers a similar program, but I could be wrong. My employer has benefits that exceed that program, but we are still required to pay into the stupid program.

Land of the snow flakes. How sad

I'll have to look into that, it might be cheaper to go that route. On the other hand, it might cost close to that amount to cover the administrative headaches of verifying compliance to the state programs. We offer paid leave, sick time and short term disability, but were told we could not opt out.

The plan my employer has seems like it is a whole new plan separate from our current benefits via Met Life. It seems like this needs to be a standalone plan that is compliant rather than just having an existing plan that covers benefits that are generally as good or better?

Ohh and now I see the land of snow flakes has a 8 person voucher voting program. What the uck is wrong with you?

I heard our county voted 82% red. Our township was about 98% red.
