We are heading to the farm tomorrow to plant. I pulled 33 trees from my backyard nursery and picked up 8 trees from Cummins.

I learned something again: Put the aluminum window screen on prior to planting. Makes a lot more sense and a lot easier.

White latex paint mixed with water and a little sevin. Protects from Southwest injury and borers.

What ratio did you use with water and Sevin? Hate to keep bothering you but as you know, we need the best protection we can. I'm planting 12 more this year then out of room. What a sickness it became for me.

Ed thats awesome! Kick butt stock you have going for sure. I've decided i'm gonna plan out what I grafted this year then transplant my nursery stock in 2018. Its easier on me then to transplant twice, ya know what I mean? My nursery is stocked from last year so I don't have room to just add the new ones so looks like i'll be planting a bunch around memorial day when they are all healed and be planted 2 year old stock next year.

Also smart idea to screen them all as you transplant, takes are step out of the equation in the field, good lookin out!
