Lightning in the fingers of those 2. A good number of guitar players from the rock & roll genre were in awe of Glen Campbell's speed and accuracy. Gotta admire genius talent.Roy Clark and Glen Campbell playing Ghost Riders in the Sky on their electric guitars. And you have to at least watch the part after the 2 minute mark.
You are really dating yourself with your band favesMy wife and I saw The Rolling Stones last summer. How can anyone be 80 and rock that hard.
Regret not seeing The Who. I also regret not seeing Stevie Ray Vaughan.
My wife bought tickets to Fleetwood Mac on their last or second to last with full lineup. I wasn’t all that interested. They were so damn good. Same with Bob Segers last tour. He was amazing.
Live Bullet is in the last CD player I own and it just plays over and over in my shed. It never gets old.
Chris LeDoux is one of my favorites. We had to recite a poem for an English class in high school. I recited the song, "Old Red" as a poem.I'm all over the board X10 !!
Anywhere from 50s rock, Blues, 90s country, 80s rock and roll, Christmas songs (yes even when its not Christmas). The number of looks I get from people who have never been graced by my music taste when I hit random play for the 1st time is priceless. LOL What can I say I like variety.
I am guessing the largest number of songs in my digital library by anyone artist/ group is by BR549, followed by Chris Ledoux. I like a lot of original Garth Brooks as well but he won't let Apple have rights so too bad for him.
I once saw him in concert 3 consecutive nights...... might have been a junky at one time. LOL I think I saw him a total of 8 times in concert. Like a lot of great artists his time on earth was too short.Chris LeDoux is one of my favorites. We had to recite a poem for an English class in high school. I recited the song, "Old Red" as a poem.
And the 70's!!! All types of music out during that decade. (Yes comes to mind). I like some of the stuff from the 60's too. Byrds, Van Morrison, CCR , Animals, Steppenwolf, Grass Roots, The Guess Who, etc. Lots of "music" these days is just talking to a back-beat.Used to listen to about everything back in the 80's. Haven't been interested in music of any kind since rap came out. I don't even turn on my radio when I'm driving anymore. Out of touch with pretty much all music now. Can't go out and listen to the local bands like the good ole days. Not much for live music around here anymore at all. Seems everyone gets a dj or just has their own playlist going now. The 80's was one hell of a time to be alive!
I’ve always wondered how they can still hear ?My wife and I saw The Rolling Stones last summer. How can anyone be 80 and rock that hard.
