Three years ago u of m announced a new Apple from their breeding program , then knowen as mn55 , recently they gave us the name , this apple will be named ( First Kiss ) and will have big press thru the year as the trees are in the ground and will have some fruit next fall 2017. This one is also a club variety , protected by patent and royalties , the apple is a cross of Honeycrisp and Mn Ark and will be high quality ripe in late Aug .
