wooduck

5 year old buck +
U of m ,, new releases (supersnap ) and (Big Flirt ) ,,, both honeycrisp crosses supersnap is said to be crisper than honeycrisp and hardier with much less disease pressure much easier to grow same ripening season mid to late sept in Minnesota and hang longer ,,, Big flirt , , large apple sweet also a honeycrisp cross less fungal problems ,, Both these apples will be available to anyone that contacts the university,,, Other apple news sweetango will go off patent in 2027 and will be open for scion wood exchange and private grafting

So how does triumph stack up against supersnap? Think you probably have some fruit off triumph by now for a bit of an opinion. One I planted for a friend is a number of yrs from fruit production. He or really his wife are always asking about growing the latest hot topic apples from the supermarket but don't think about the zero care for apples that happens at their hunting property. So "honeycrisp like" with zero spraying program is the elusive goal for any new plantings I help them with

honeycrisp x enterprise will be off patent soon too.

One that caght my eye was big deer from SLN. Good crabapple found from planting 100 sweetango seeds.
