Not too sweet. I like dryer cider but back sweetened it a bit so it's not bone dry. Loving those cider barn pics. Might need a copy of the plan and layout minus a basement.

I do it all myself and that way no one gets in my way. I am not very organized but I make up for it effort sometimes fruitless efforts (no pun intended) but retirement helps too Bows lol. I need a small cider barn as I think I will be growing more apples in the future lol. I hopeAero's working on a " hard case " and Maya's got the snack menu for Happy Hour .............. Mine is 16X30'. You can get them starting at about 14-15k, I think. Mine took some finagling to build because of the cellar, putting in pillars etc.. You'd have to get quotes down there. Keep in mind it is all pre-cut and comes ready to build except for your site work. (pad, pillars of some sort) I bet you could get someone to put it up for 3-5k. It really is not hard if you have the tools and are somewhat carpentry minded.....I'm not! LOL
I bet there are some Amish builders down that way that make similar things.

Dodged a HUGE bullet yesterday afternoon! We had rain most of the day, but a nasty storm just missed us. My friend that is putting up the barn called and asked me if the barn was still standing. A microburst hit about 10 miles south of me and the whole town was a mini war zone. Not quite as bad as a tornado, but more widespread, this microburst snapped trees and telephone poles all through town. It was such a mess they had to shut the power down to the whole town. They'll be out of power for a few days.

These recent storms are crazy. 3 to 5 inches of rain, high winds - enough to bring large trees down, blow roofs off house and barns, and knock out power to a batch of areas. Some weather reports call for snow on the backside of this low pressure system as it pulls colder air down from Canada. Western N.Y. state and N.W. Pa. may get some snow out of it.

Yes I believe it with this crappy weather we have been having on the east coast. I never saw apple blossoms last so long also. Been waiting for petal fall to thin and spray for pc if they are alive yet lol
