Moultrie spreader motor

Northbound

5 year old buck +
Anyone else use a moultrie atv spreader? I have one mounted on front rack (sprayer stays on rear) I love the spreader but I have to replace motor annually. Not a big deal for 40 bucks a year. However this year the brand new motor only used one weekend, then washed well and already froze up the next weekend! 40 bucks a year doesn't bother me but a motor per week is frustrating especially when you need to spread. Any better motor options exist? Perhaps something sealed better

Don't wash it
The new ones have no seals on the shaft. Have gone through several recently. Decided that my multi year old spreader is not worth it so just don't wash it out. Only after fertilizer and then oil the bearings quite a bit maybe... maybe not .time will tell

Don't know how I put that in bold

I also had to recently replace mine.
