Maintenance fertilizer for pines n spruces

Anybody seen what kinda mix spruce and pine trees should get for fertilizer? I have high 5 pH clay soil I have been liming more or less annually. Wondering if the pH shouldn't be as high as apple trees like them. Planted 2017 seedling, all are around 8-10ft tall.

Most years just put a coffe cup or two of triple 12 or 15 around it This year just used my apple tree mix. 2 parts triple 18 2 parts 6-24-24 1 part 0-0-60 potash. About 2 coffee cups a tree. White spruce and white pines.

I think it's going to be location dependent but you seem to have a good program going. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

In general conifers prefer a soil that is more acidic than fruit trees.

I've been spraying lime roughly 2 out of 3 years in the area. Letting the liming I did this winter settle out a few months, then I'm doing 4 inch and 2ft deep samples to get checked out. 2ft deep going to get good analysis, and top layer getting basics. Did the top layers of my foodplot, orchard, and some trees areas a few times over the years.

Going to borrow bother in laws subsoil sample collector.

Notcing some overspray damage this year on the bottom a bit from roundupin' the weeds.

Will do a malathion spray on them too after the apple trees are done blossoming, getting more n more bagworms on the spruces each year.
