I got a shed buck today in PA. I still have the itch to hunt and will probably do some late season archery for another doe.

Got the flu last weekend of regular muzzleloading here in NY. Window hunted from home. Just another day for the rye/clover doe factory, mom n 2 kids. My home doesn't have a ton of land, so I use the scoped omega. Make sure I hit em good.

What are you PA folks using for flintlock season? Anybody near milford PA. Snow isnt too nutty and no Florida trip, I will get a PA tag.

I think he's 5 years old. Saw him about a week ago but he was on the neighbors corn field. He's been around a few years but usually late season he comes for the food. Been a few years since I've tagged one in MN, pretty happy about this guy. There were two mature deer I would've been happy to shoot that have been around, thought I'd score one before the muzzleloader season closed.
He was 165 yards away. Double lunged, maybe a little high, he went about 125 yards and died right on the property line. Zero blood near the shot, wasnt even much on the trail, tbh.

I almost never do this…but I’m hunting from the bed. It’s 9 with a biting north wind and some snowy stuff blowing around. I’m not sitting out there without a single buck to hunt and a bow in a lock on. Deer sausage and coffee it is!

Thanks, it has been a great season. Much to be thankful for in regards to whitetails this year. Maybe mom has been giving these deer a gentle nudge in my direction

Honestly they don't get this heavy too often around here. My 9 year old bow buck from ten years ago was even spindly. It'll be interesting to see what his teeth come in at.

Update: Unfortunately, the hunt was ruined by the neighbors five dogs that ran the deer off as they came into the plot at sunset.
