Garry Oak aka Oregon white oak

Anyone here have experience with the Gary Oak.

I believe I have some seedlings growing. They read like they are extremely drought tolerant.

But I question its growing zone tolerance. Some places state zone 4 but most say zone 6.

I live in zone 5 and they wintered fine at my place……..where other trees and bushes had die back.

Read some about them but no experience, for drought tolerance I’d look at Burgamble oak the Idaho Pitkin State Nursery usually has them for sale September 1st. I planted 15 last year and will likely pick up more this year for the new farm.
