Fertilizer Quest.

Last fall I planted Whitetail Institute Alfa-Rack and frost seeded clover a couple of weeks ago.

I just got my soil test back and i am not sure if I need to fertilize this plot at this time

My soil PH is 6.5 No limestone required
phosphorus (P) 34 Optimum
Potassium (K) 92 below Optimum
Magnesium (Mg) 256 Above Optimum

Do I need to fertilize this plot and if so what would you recommend.

Based on those numbers, I wouldn't. Apply the funds elsewhere.

I wouldn't worry too much about it either. Your Potassium (K) level is somewhere around low - medium so you could give it a shot of 0-0-60 to give that a boost. Fall is a good time to fertilize alfalfa and clovers - usually September around here in Upper Michigan. Not sure where you are located but we usually give clovers a boost of P & K in the fall.
